What is a .CTL file?
The most common data format on the web.
A CTL file is a plain-text source code file created by Microsoft Visual Basic 6 to define a reusable ActiveX control (UserControl). Open it with the VB6 IDE (vb6.exe) as part of a project, or with any text editor to read the code. The format is a legacy from 1998. VB.NET replaced it with .vb files.
