What is a .D file?
The most common data format on the web.
A .d file is almost always a D programming language source file, plain UTF-8 text that DMD, GDC, or LDC compiles into a native executable. Open and edit it in VS Code with the code-d extension, or any text editor. Compilers such as GCC also generate .d files as GNU make dependency lists, which are unrelated to the D language.
