What is a .MAN file?
The most common data format on the web.
A .man file is a Unix manual page, plain-text documentation for a command written in roff/troff markup. On Linux and macOS run "man ./name.man" to read it formatted in the terminal, or use groff to convert it to PDF, HTML, or plain text. A text editor opens the raw source but shows formatting macros, not a finished page.
