What is a .MLT file?
The most common data format on the web.
An MLT file is one of two unrelated types: a plain-text data file for Forecast Pro (Business Forecast Systems) used in multivariate time-series forecasting, or an XML video editing project from Shotcut or Kdenlive. Open it in a text editor first to find out which. Forecast Pro data looks like semicolon-delimited numbers; a video project starts with XML and contains the tag "mlt". Neither type is dangerous to open.
