A VOX file is a raw Dialogic ADPCM audio recording used in telephony and IVR systems. It has no header, so standard media players cannot open it. Use Audacity (import as Raw Data, OKI ADPCM, 8000 Hz, mono) or Awave Studio to open and convert it to WAV.

Why can't some files be converted?
Files protected with DRM (for example purchased iTunes .m4p songs or some .wmv rentals) are encrypted. We can show what's inside, but nobody can convert them without the key.
