What is a .CRTX file?
The most common data format on the web.
A CRTX file is a Microsoft Office chart template. It stores the look of a chart (type, colors, axes, formatting) so you can apply that style to your own data. It contains no data itself. To use one in Excel, go to Chart Design > Change Chart Type > Templates and select the file; double-clicking it alone does nothing.
