What is a .SFV file?
The most common data format on the web.
An SFV file is a small text Simple File Verification list that pairs filenames with their CRC-32 checksums. Use it to confirm files next to it were not corrupted during download, copy, or disc burning. Open and verify it with QuickSFV or TeraCopy on Windows, checkSum+ on macOS, or cksfv on Linux. It catches accidental corruption only, not tampering or malware.
